Most people go travelling at some point in their lives. bored of the bog stnadrd holidays to Mallorca or Tenerife, they upsticks and go around the world in serach of undiscovered cultures and new experiences. Travelling the world is a great thing to do and I have absolutely no qualms about it but I do think there are more intelligent ways to travel. Global travel used to have an element of freedom and a lack of strcture, but like almost everything else, it has become commercialised, bif travel companies have recognised people?s propensity to global travel and have since set up tours which organise and rationalise travel, taking away that crucial unplanned, unstructured element.
In light of this, I suggest that a better way to travel globally is on a cruise liner like Rhine river cruises. If you?re wonedring why I?m saying all this when I?ve just sung the praises of freestyle, unplanned travel, it?s because the majority of people in the market for such an experience will gravitate towards this kind of travel option, if this is the case, why not combine it with the luxury of a cruise! Of course this may not be everyone?s taste, for many, the fundamental appeal behind travel is the fact that you are torn away from creature, comforts, plunged into a more primitive world where you must learn to fend for yourself. Of course cunard cruises 2011 don?t provide this aspect!
The great thing about a cruise however, especially on some of the vast liners (probably not the ones used for Oceania cruises 2012 is that you can actually find employment aboard, which will pay for your travel! It really is a no-brainer if you have the option to undertake paid work, while travelling the world, then why not do it. Cruises are of course, not for everyone and it depends on what you want from a holiday as to what option you should go for.
