Daytime Emmys bid adieu to departing stars, shows (omg!)

LAS VEGAS - "The Bold and the Beautiful" won drama series honors for the third consecutive year at the Daytime Emmys in a bittersweet ceremony that marked the daytime departures of two veteran soap operas, talk show queen Oprah Winfrey and Regis Philbin.

Laura Wright of "General Hospital" and Michael Park of "As the World Turns" earned lead actress and actor honors.

Brittany Allen of "All My Children" claimed the show's final Daytime Emmy, winning for younger actress in a drama series.

The ABC soap is leaving the air, along with the network's "One Life to Live," after more than 40 years because of declining ratings.
