Our client, an innovative automotive company, is looking for an Electrical Engineer with hybrid vehicle experience to join their team.

Responsibilities
- Supervises suppliers, contractors and design responsible engineers to ensure that the product is developed on time and on budget.
- Manages multiple programs and configurations and plans for continuous improvement.
- Maintains a technology roadmap and assesses technology for future applications and improvements.
- Works closely with motor controls specialist to ensure proper operation of the electric machines and behavior for the applications.
- Works to ensure High Voltage safety, Electromagnetic Compatibility and adherence to all applicable Norms & Standards.
- Stays engaged in the overall Powertrain development and contributes to ensure the proper selection and utilization of electric machines technology.
- Proven expertise in power electronics especially higher power (10s of kW) ? demonstrated through education and work experience.
- Inverter design and development along with converters design and development. Experience with design and development of battery chargers a big plus. All above experience in hybrid traction systems development a definite plus.

Requirements
- BS in Electrical Engineering.
- 10 years of hands on experience with power electronics design, analysis and development.
- Expert in power electronics by education and experience.
- Experienced covering inverter (motor drives), converter (DC/DC and AC/DC) and battery chargers for Li-Ion battery packs.
- Knowledgeable of PCB manufacturing practices and standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
